October Fiber Fun

Happy Fall! The air has cooled, the leaves are changing, and it’s a beautiful time of year. I just wrapped up the Fall Fest at Blue Mountain Lake Adirondack Experience—it was a fantastic day with great people!

A couple newsworthy items:

• I recently attended a fantastic Artist Entrepreneur workshop with NYSCA and SLC, gaining new ideas for the business and marketing side of things.

How to clean my fiber sculptures: A few people have asked, and I recommend using a lint roller every few months or lightly blowing off dust with canned air. For homes with more dust or pet hair, consider one of my pieces in a shadow box, terrarium, or under a cloche.
Bundle deal on maps: It’s not too early to order a commissioned piece for Christmas! My custom maps take time, and my slots fill up fast. If you’re interested, please email or call to start the process for your custom lake, river, or land map. I’ll begin advertising on October 16th, but you can secure your spot early.
