Hot August Days and Festivals

It's been a busy summer! I've participated in several festivals, including Croghan Street Fair, Chautauqua, and Inlet Arts in the Park. More festivals are on the horizon, and I plan to apply for fall and Christmas events once applications open.

Celebrate with me! My piece "Spring Violet" has been accepted into the Clayton Thousand Islands Arts Center's "Along the River’s Edge" juried show, running from August 28 to November 15. If you can, stop by to see all the beautiful work—it’s always an amazing show.
Additionally, "Lake Bonaparte" was accepted into the "Arts in the Park" walk in Croghan this July and August, printed on an outdoor poster board.

A few items have sold online! While most of my sales happen at festivals, it's exciting to see online orders coming in.

New Gallery I've become a member  with a gallery in Cooperstown, NY. This fall, I'll be participating in their “Art on the Porch” show and their Holiday Show. Hopefully, there will be more exciting news to come!

New Products Felt Flowers Series: I completed a series of felt flowers and even made one for myself! They’re $80 plus tax and shipping, and you can email me if interested. I also created long rectangle moss earrings requested by a client. They’re available in my front entry shop—let me know if you’re interested.

I’m always pushing my limits and experimenting with new ways to present embroidery. I have some special fabric arriving soon, and I hope to share new creations in the next newsletter.

In the meantime, I've enjoyed family time, fishing in Canada, hiking, foraging for chanterelles and black trumpets, camping, and gardening. There's still plenty of summer left before the cooler, colorful days of fall.

Thank you for your interest and support on my art journey. It has been wonderful meeting you all in the various festivals and events I'v shown work.
 May your days be blessed!
Connie

Welcome to my blog! I'm excited to be creating fiber sculptures of nature, going on forays, hikes and biking in the Adirondacks and the 1,000 Islands regions for inspiration with my husband, Randy.
